Usually when students have writing projects, I have a meeting
with each student after class. I sit and go through each student’s writing and
provide feedback for them. This meeting with students is very important as I
can take the time to explain and go through the strong points in their essay
and what they need to practice more on. I kept five students per day according
to the attendance list. Of course, sometime this schedule conflicted with the
students’ schedule. This is the first time I heard about doodle.com in class. I
thought it could be the perfect tool for me to use for my class. Instead of
keeping students according to the attendance list, students can have the choice
to pick what time or day works best for them. Not only this, they will have the
copy of the schedule, and I could show the schedule after class. I could save
as a pdf and send to students as well! With this tool, not only will I be more
organized, but my students will also be organized. This is very beneficial as
it provides a time slot that can be used and seen by all students.
I'm glad you've found something that could be useful! Have fun implementing it!
